To build good relationships with our clients and other staff in the Care Home
To do everything possible to maintain a safe, clean, enjoyable environment to live and work in, this will involve some domestic duties at times
To learn about our clients individual needs in the most appropriate way following all relevant policies and procedures
To assist clients in their individual needs and report as required
To assist our clients to maintain personal cleanliness, general hygiene and appearance. This will include intimate care
To assist or be a ‘key’ worker for a small group of clients as required
To promote equality, acknowledging individual differences and upload the rights and responsibilities of our client and staff
To do everything possible to protect our clients from any form of abuse from staff, visitors or each other
To write accurate reports and have an awareness of care planning
Undertake any additional duties as required, which are relevant to the post

£1.00 supplement on weekends
£0.25p/hour supplement if you work all your contracted hours in a given month for all shifts

You will attend and take an active part in staff meetings
You will attend work reliably and punctually, wearing a clean uniform and correct footwear
You will attend all training as required and be prepared to achieve qualifications appropriate to the role
You will ensure that you keep yourself up to date with all policies and procedure changes
You will work in a way that ensures that neither your own Health & Safety is jeopardised or that of your colleagues
You ensure that any issues that may arise are reported to a Line Manager without delay
You will ensure that a positive image of Hestia Care is promoted at all times and that any risks to the Hestia Care image or reputation is reported immediately
